Time warps
Get the most from every warp.
- Turn the Steward on first
This is the big one. In our test, a one-hour warp early in a run went from floor 1 to floor 19 with the Steward off, and from floor 1 to floor 129 with it on. The fight is the same, but the Steward keeps spending the gold it earns.

- Rebirth, then level a hunter
Use a warp near the start of a run, while your party can win easily. Level up Daro first: a party that can’t deal damage earns nothing, and neither does the warp.
- Press Time warp
The buttons are next to Shadow Burst, and only appear when you have a warp. 1 is an hour of fighting and 2 is 8 hours, both straight away.

- Check the report
You’ll see how far you climbed, what you earned and how many levels the Steward bought.

- Rebirth again and repeat
One warp per run beats using them all at once. In our test, one hour reached floor 130, worth about 150 shadow essence. Eight hours in one go only reached floor 170, worth about 243. Eight one-hour warps over eight runs would earn about 1,200.
Tips
- Don’t warp at a wall. In our test, an hour at a boss the party couldn’t beat moved it just one floor. Rebirth first.
- Open your chests first. You can carry 1000, and a full bag stops you finding more.
- Save warps for a good weekend. Golden Weekend doubles the gold and Treasure Weekend doubles the chests, and warps get both.
- 8-hour warps are best when you want a lot of gold and XP in one go. They earned about 5 times the XP of a one-hour warp in our test.
- Where to get them: day 7 of your login streak, finishing all your daily quests, Gold or Gatebreaker in the Gate Trial, the Long hunt expedition, the arena shop, inviting friends and the Store.
