Shadow Steward

The one button that gets you far more when you come back.

1. Do your first rebirth

   The Steward joins you after your first rebirth. Until then the button stays greyed out.

2. Press the Steward button

   It’s above your hunters, next to the ×1 and ×10 buttons. When it’s on, it glows and says Steward on.

   
3. Leave it on when you go

   While you’re away, your army keeps fighting and the Steward spends your gold on the best upgrade once a minute. Without it, your gold just piles up and your party stays as weak as when you left.

4. See what it did

   When you come back, the welcome screen tells you how many levels the Steward bought and how far you climbed.

Tips

• The Steward works during time warps too. See the Time warps guide for how big a difference that makes.
• Your army fights for 8 hours while you’re away. Raise the Shadow Sentinel to make that longer.
