Getting started
Strike, level your hunters and climb.
- Learn the Battle page
Everything starts here. 1 is the fight: click or tap it, or press Space, to strike. 2 levels up a hunter. 3 is Shadow Burst. 4 is the Shadow Steward, who joins you after your first rebirth.
- Spend your gold on hunters
Your party fights on its own, and every level adds damage. A hunter’s damage doubles every 25 levels, so it’s often worth pushing one to their next doubling. The ×1, ×10, ×25 and Max buttons above your hunters change how many levels you buy at once.
- Fire Shadow Burst
Press the button or the B key for one huge hit: 10 seconds of party damage plus 10 strikes. It recharges in a minute, so save it for a boss you can’t quite beat.
- Beat the elites and bosses
Every 5th floor has an elite and every 10th a zone boss, and each has a time limit. If the timer runs out you drop back a floor and farm until you’re stronger. Level your hunters, then press the button to challenge the boss again.
- Follow the tutorial
The bar above each page takes you to your first rebirth and pays a reward for every step. If you hid it, you can bring it back from the Account page.
Tips
- New hunters join as your player level rises, so keep an eye on the list on the Battle page.
